Mental Capacity & Legal Assessments
I undertake independent Mental Capacity Assessments across a range of decision-specific areas. I have experience working alongside solicitors in relation to testamentary capacity, litigation capacity, and matters before the Court of Protection (CoP), providing clear, defensible, and evidence-based assessments in line with legal frameworks.
Tools, Templates & Governance Systems
I provide a range of practical tools and templates to strengthen recording, monitoring, and audit systems. These are designed to be streamlined, effective, and fully aligned with regulatory expectations, supporting services to maintain oversight and drive continuous improvement.
Compliance
I offer a comprehensive range of audits, compliance reviews, and full mock inspections tailored to the standards of the Care Quality Commission, with a clear focus on the CQC Quality Statements framework. These can be delivered reactively, in response to a recent inspection or identified concern, or proactively, with a focus on strengthening quality, safety, and improving your overall rating.

I have extensive experience in investigating safeguarding concerns and complaints, and can support you to respond effectively when these arise. I can work alongside you in liaising with Adult Social Care and other partner agencies, attending professional meetings and conferences where required, and supporting the preparation of clear, evidence-based documentation.
I am able to guide services through formal processes, helping you to navigate these confidently while maintaining positive and constructive relationships with partner agencies. Alongside this, I offer mentoring and support to managers and staff, building confidence, strengthening decision-making, and embedding good practice.
I also provide targeted support to managers in preparing for Care Quality Commission interviews, helping you to clearly evidence your leadership, governance, and service quality.
