My Story

I am a qualified Social Worker with almost 20 years’ experience in Adult Social Care, working across frontline practice, senior leadership, and service improvement. As a former Care Quality Commission (CQC) Inspector, I offer a clear, strategic understanding of regulatory expectations and what it takes to achieve and sustain high-quality care.

I specialise in safeguarding, risk management, provider improvement, and mental health. I am a qualified Best Interests Assessor (BIA) and Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), with expert knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and associated legal frameworks.

I have led Local Authority improvement services and supported a wide range of providers to strengthen compliance, improve quality, and confidently navigate regulatory scrutiny. My approach is practical, solutions-focused, and grounded in real-world experience.

I provide targeted support including audits, compliance reviews, mock inspections, and crisis management services at risk of enforcement action. I also work in partnership with a trusted network of senior health and social care professionals, including experienced nurses, ensuring access to specialist clinical expertise where required.
